Constant efforts to serve in the name of Christ

  • Mother Alphonse Marie, a Venerable Servant of God, is a beautiful image of a female holiness. She is an example of mystics, which profound experience of Jesus' love which becomes a source of specific love for our neighbor.

  • A great love of Jesus and Mary, personal and intimate experience with their Hearts was an immediate and necessary incentive she into “Acts of Charity”. Through mystical experience with the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Sister Alphonse Marie proves to be accurate in deeds of love for the neighbor. By this fruit, the tree is known.

  • Sister Alphonse Marie had great love for her neighbor. She encouraged her Sisters to do likewise. Thus, began the works of charity, visiting the poor, sick and dying in their homes to feed, nurse and console them. These “Acts of Charity” brought the Light of Christ's Love to the lonely.

  • Our Foundress wanted the Sisters in each house of the Congregation to have the bare essentials for livelihood. Everything else must be given to the poor or used for founding new homes. She was convinced that where the spirit of poverty does not reign, there is no place for other virtues.

  • As Superior, Mother Alphonse Marie had great confidence in the Providence of God that He would provide for them both spiritually and physically.

  • Mother Alphonse Marie's message links the Love of God, Love of neighbor and salvation of souls. She had a special love for poor children and sinners. She wanted to make our Divine Redeemer known to them.

  • Mother Alphonse Marie's constant love for God and constant efforts to serve the sick, poor and abandoned children has achieved in establishing our Congregation's heroic degrees of the Theological, Cardinal and Moral Virtues.
